Pilot installations

Pilot installations, unlike laboratory installations, are based on industrial membranes. In line with this solution, a certain scalability of the installation is maintained, which means that all processing parameters obtained on pilot installations fully correspond to the parameters of industrial installations.
Unlike industrial installations, pilot installations differ in design and pumps. Therefore, pumps with wide operating characteristics are used, often allowing operation in the range from MF up to RO on the same pump!
Such a solution - although ineffective from an electric efficiency point of view, allows for maximum flexibility in terms of the processed raw material and the size of the streams.
Pilot installations also allow for easy replacement of installed membranes or even use several types of modules - both ceramic and polymer
